The House is now CLOSED for a restoration and alteration project.
The Gardens will however be OPEN from 1st of March to the 30th of June 2019.
The Tea Shed will be open from the 1st of March to 30 June 10am to 4pm 7 days a week, closing on a Monday and Tuesday from 1st July – 27th October 2019.
Home to the same family for more than 300 years and an International Camellia Garden of Excellence, Trewithen’s horticulture, Champion Trees, intriguing pathways and unexpected treasures are both memorable and exceptional.

Cornus kousa var. chinensis. This wonderful small tree/large shrub is now in its full glory. The whole plant is smothered in white bracts (modified leaves giving the impression of large flowers). Their sheer weight transforms this fairly upright specimen into a weeping form.
