It won’t be long before 2012’s award season will be upon us. After announcing December’s plant of the month I will release the short list for this year’s PPY awards (Plant Personality of the Year).
Previous winners include Schefflera macrophylla, Rhododendron ‘Trewithen Purple’ nad last years winner Cornus kousa var.chinensis.
This list will be chosen from plant of the month winners and a few wildcard entries with the top 3 being announced in the second half of December.
As always there will be a strict criteria which include colour, shape, form, texture, performance of the plant in the last 12 months and, most importantly, if I like it!
