With freezing cold temperatures and snow in November (rare as rocking horse poo) the garden has gone into winter slumber.

Mother Nature has decked out the garden with her own Christmas decorations.

As well as a covering by a snugly white snow blanket some of the trees and shrubs look to have been decorated ready for the festive season.

The Davidia involucrata (pocket handkerchief tree) seed have Christmas hats on and look like baubles dangling from the tree.
