The first Magnolia of 2015
Despite the cold spell at the end of January into early February our seedling Magnolia campbellii subsp.mollicomata, a baby form our champion tree on main lawn has started to flower.
5 days earlier than 2014 (Feb 17th in 2014 Feb 12th in 2015) we have our first magnolia flower. This is still a lot later than our earliest recorded date, in recent years, of January 10th.
