Today, 16th November 2012, Trewithen helped Grampound with creed primary school plant up their new garden. The school has had an extension built and need help re-landscaping and planting their school garden.

Heligan gardens helped with the sunken area creating a "Jungle" feel with tree ferns and bamboo plantings. We planted two long flower beds with mixed shrubs including Camellia, Rhododendron, Skimmia etc under planted with Cornish varieties of daffodils. The school council children helped plant the bulbs.

The garden will be officially opened on 6th December by the mayor of Truro.
