Rhododendron 'Hotei'
If you only have room for one Rhododendron (then move to a house with a bigger garden!) this is for you.
Rhododendron 'Hotei' is a compact medium sized shrub with narrow, dark ever green leaves and deep yellow, bell shaped flowers.
Such is the beauty of this hybrid it has been used as a parent for many new hybrids.
We have a plant here that HRH the queen mother planted on a visit in 1985.
Its now flowering, just in time for the royal wedding!
