Edgeworthia chrysantha

Not sure why i haven’t nominated this shrub before. She is a stunner. The clusters of heavily scented yellow flowers nod and fill the air during late winter. The flowers are coated in white/silvery hairs which is an added attraction during the long winter months.

I took this photo in Shanghai in February 2007. It was one of the first plants I saw after landing.

Could possibly be our #PPoTY2018 (Plant Personality of the Year 2018) which is a competition I run annually with all 12 “Plants of the Month” going into a shootout in late December to see who is #PPoTY2018 keep an eye on our social media pages to find out more.
