Plant of the month for July is…

Hydrangea serrata, a lovely dwarf shrub rarely bigger than 1m in height and spread. White flowers in the centre are surrounded by light blue "Ray Florets" on the outside of the flower head. Very florific and loves dappled shade. Introduced in 1843 and native to Japan and Korea.
