Plant of the month for July is…

Lomatia ferruginea.

A wonderful foliage plant, making a large shrub or small tree in mild areas. It has dark green fern like foliage and stunning "Parrot beak" type flowers in the summer.

Introduced from Chile in about 1846 by Cornishman William Lobb
