My choice for plant of the month for March is:-

Camellia reticulata ‘Shizitou’ (Lion Head)

A yunnan or Kunming reticulata introduced from china in the 1950’s by Walter lammert’s and Ralph Peer. One of two we have grwoing the other being ‘Baozhu Cha’ (Nobel Pearl)

The plants in the garden today are original introductions and are growing away happily in the centre of the garden.

We have heavily pruned the area around the plants to allow more light and have been rewarded thia year with exceptional flowers.
