The plant of the month for May is…
Rhododendron augustinii ssp.augustinii
2015 has been a wonderful year for Rhododendron and none more so than R.augustinii. It has held it's Lavender blue flowers, for what seems like weeks. The whole shrub (although its tree like in the garden being over 20foot tall!) is clothed in blue a sight to behold.
