Hydrangea aspera var.robusta
This lush, large hydrangea is so different than the normal macrophylla or mop head type. The bold, velvety foliage is an excellent foil for the lace cap flowers in late summer. The centre is a crowd of tiny blue, fertile flowers surrounded by a ring of white ray florets.
A stunning Asiatic plant and a must for any collection.
