Franklinia alatamaha is an exceptionally rare shrub related to the camellia and currently in flower in our nursery. Not fully hardy in the British Isles our plants have benefitted from the added warmth and protection of being in a poly tunnel and flourished as a result! The pure white, camellia like, flowers are set against the foliage which has turned a vivid bright red.
Plants are now available to buy from our nursery which deals with both retail and wholesale customers when the gardens and plant centre are closed.
