February 5th 2014
Overnight we endured wind gusting to over 80mph. The garden held up well but several trees were either felled or damaged.
The interesting fact that came out of the damage is the variety of trees affected. They included Beech, Ash, Sycamore, Eucalyptus and horse chestnut. Just going to show that mother nature isn’t selective.
The gardens will re-open, as scheduled, on March 1st.
