Trewithen’s website has been given a fresh new look, providing a behind-the-scenes snapshot of the 300 year old privately owned estate near Truro.
Each element of Trewithen is described in detail, including the history of the family, award-winning gardens, house and the working estate as a whole.
Developed by Perranarworthal-based Hudson Armstrong Design, in association with Sue Bradbury PR, there is also plenty of information about visiting Trewithen, including opening times, tours and how to buy tickets.
Head Gardener, Gary Long, said: “We wanted this website to reflect all that Trewithen offers, from a tour around the garden and house to purchasing plants propagated from our own stock to information about the estate generally.
“It also highlights the people who are at the heart of Trewithen. That is why there is information about the family, both past and present, and each team now has its own page profiling staff members, including our volunteers who are instrumental to the success of the gardens.”
Learn about what is happening in the gardens and future developments through Gary’s blog, Facebook and Twitter pages which also include his “plants of the month” and monthly tips, as well as regular news and offers.
Trewithen House is open for tours every Monday and Tuesday until 31st July (and August Bank Holiday Monday) and the garden is open every Monday – Saturday (Sundays March – May) until the 30th September.
