Trewithen House at Grampound, near Truro, has belonged to the same family for nearly 10 generations and is home to Michael Galsworthy – the current Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall. Filled with fine furniture, objects d'art and paintings lovingly collected over nearly three centuries, its rooms, including the famous Great Saloon, boast some wonderful architectural features. Tours run every 20 minutes in groups of ten and take approximately 40 minutes. Prior booking is recommended and wheelchair access is available.
