From Monday 5th April Trewithen House will be opening its doors to the general public for four months only.

Generally considered to be one of the most elegant examples of 18th Century country architecture in Cornwall, taking a tour through the beautiful family home and soaking up hundreds of years of history is an experience not to be missed. Tours run from 2-4pm every Monday and Tuesday throughout April to July.

Why not combine the entry fee and visit the award winning gardens? Famed for their rhododendron, camellia and magnolia, the gardens have recently bloomed into a riot of colour and perfume. The Tea Shop serves delicious homemade food seven days a week and, back by popular demand, the Bugle Silver Band will be entertaining visitors on select Sundays throughout the summer. Staged in between the Magnolia "Star Wars" and the Monkey Puzzle tree, the first performance is on the 25th April from 1-3pm.

Locals are in for a special treat as TR2 residents will get discounted admission to the gardens until September. Bring proof of address to gain discount.
